The Woman Behind

The Mission

My love for moving my body began by accident—and, to be brutally honest, it started out of vanity. I wanted to be “skinny.” At 15, the age when many girls begin to feel the weight of societal pressures, I fell into a dangerous pattern. I pushed myself to the extremes with excessive cardio and starvation, slowly losing touch with who I truly was. My body was failing, my mind was cluttered, and my soul was blocked.

As the anxiety I felt grew, it became crippling, and I lost sight of everything I had once known. At that point, I wasn’t just struggling physically; I was fighting a battle within myself that seemed impossible to win.

But then, at 20, my mother—who has always been fit and health-conscious—gave me a voucher for a coach. She knew, from experience, the profound benefits that health and fitness could have on the body and the mind. With this gift, I discovered strength training, and it changed everything. I didn’t just fall in love with how it transformed my body, but with what it did for my mind. Strength training became my therapy. There’s nothing quite like the rush of endorphins that floods through you after a good lift.

As I began to align my nutrition with my training, my body, mind, and soul started rewarding me in ways I never expected. Not only was my body changing into the body I had always dreamed of, but my mind and soul were following suit. I stopped chasing skinny and started chasing power. Power over perfection. And in that shift, I stepped into my strongest self.

At 22, I took a leap of faith. I walked away from my family’s business—a decision that was incredibly difficult—for the opportunity to pursue a career in coaching. I had studied personal training and nutritional advisor, and I was ready to take that giant step forward. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

Now, I’m more than just a “personal trainer.” I’m a woman on a mission: to guide other women in rejecting the standards that society has placed on us. My purpose is to help women Honor their bodies, just as I have learned to Honor mine. I guide them to find freedom in their bodies so that they can also find freedom within their minds. We don’t need to live with restrictions; we need to cultivate resilience. And that resilience comes through honouring our bodies with strength training and nourishment.
